This policy (“Warranty Policy”) applies to all sales by BRIGHTSTAR TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. of those lighting products which BRIGHTSTARTW manufactures (the “Products”) to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”).
BRIGHTSTARTW reserves the right to amend this Warranty Policy from time to time.
BRIGHTSTARTW warrants that each Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship (“Limited Warranty”) subject to the terms and conditions of this Warranty Policy
Circumstances Excluded From This Limited Warranty
BRIGHTSTARTW disclaims all liabilities for any claim by a dealer / distributor or End Customer under this Warranty Policy where any damage is caused (whether to the Product or otherwise) by:
The improper use, maintenance or safekeeping by the Purchaser or an End Customer (including, for example, failure to install or use the Products in accordance with the Product specifications or as set out on the BRIGHTSTARTW website including without limitation, connecting wires incorrectly or a non-rated load, or using the Products in other inappropriate circumstances such as in abnormally high temperatures, wet conditions, or in a corrosive environment);
a force majeure event including, without limitation, a strike, lockout, fire, riot, war, act of God, inability to obtain materials, components or supplies, failure or breakdown of manufacturing machinery, production scheduling delays, government regulations or other conditions;
any rust, mildew, defect or damage due to poor storage conditions or improper management; using non-original BRIGHTSTARTW auxiliary products, for example, using BRIGHTSTARTW light source products with other brands of electronic components;
In the event it is necessary to return a Product to BRIGHTSTARTW, the Purchaser must follow the procedure outlined in this Warranty Policy.
For warranty service you must obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending back the product–please contact BRIGHTSTARTW.
If a return is approved by BRIGHTSTARTW, an official RMA (Return Material Authorization) form will be prepared and emailed to the Purchaser.
Product Returns Will Not Be Accepted By BRIGHTSTARTW If Not Accompanied By A Valid Rma Number
Those Products returned without a RMA number will either be refused or returned to the Purchaser at the expense of the Purchaser.
Send the product only to the BRIGHTSTARTW factory.
All shipping charges must be pre-paid.
This warranty is void if the serial number has been altered or removed;
If the product is modified in any manner which BRIGHTSTARTW concludes, after inspection, affects the reliability of the product;
If the product has been repaired or serviced by anyone other than the BRIGHTSTARTW factory unless prior written authorization was issued to purchaser by BRIGHTSTARTW.
If the product is damaged because not properly maintained as outlined in the instruction manual.

BRIGHTSTARTW Does Not Accept The Following Return Reasons (not all–inclusive):
◆ Buyer error
◆ Buyer choice or discretionary return
◆ Brightness not as expected (we are not able to guarantee that our lighting solutions are brighter than the lighting solution being replaced)
◆ Color not as expected eg. “…too blue…” or “…doesn’t match my existing lighting…”
◆ “Not as good as my previous HID or Lighting Solution”
